The fast counter drone S-UAV
The small variant of the M-UAV should be quick to deploy, quick to fly and easy to operate.
We succeeded with the S-UAV. At around 950 grams (without battery, without sensors) it already reached 103 km/h on the first test flights. This is sufficient to fulfill the intended purpose.
Because this copter is intended to track incoming drones and, if necessary, to create photos that can be used in court. If the laws in the respective country of operation allow it and the penetrating flying object poses a greater threat, the S-UAV will bring enough kinetic energy with it to bring the enemy object down. This can be done by remote control, but also fully automatically with the appropriate drone detection system. Here the S-UAV receives the GPS coordinates into the flight control system and goes on interception course.
